Smart Fuel Pass offers two different journeys where the charging location supports them: registered charging and one-off ad-hoc charging.
Registered account
A registered customer can use an account balance, see charging history and account statements, manage a fleet and receive consolidated charging documents. A top-up is a transfer of money to the payment account; it is not an invoice for electricity.
Ad-hoc charging
An unregistered visitor identifies the connector by QR code, NFC or a payment terminal, sees the price, chooses a reservation amount and pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. After a successful reservation, the visitor must return to Smart Fuel Pass if the payment provider redirects there; the platform then verifies the payment and starts charging.
Price, receipt and reservation
Registered and ad-hoc tariffs can differ. Before the session, the displayed tariff is the applicable final tariff. When the session ends, only the actual amount is settled and the unused reservation is released. An ad-hoc receipt is available in the invoice portal; a mobile wallet may use different last four card digits from the physical card.
