When your employer invites you to home charging reimbursement, you receive an email invitation. The reimbursement cannot start until you accept it and select a charging location.
Accept the invitation
- Open the invitation from your email and sign in to the Smart Fuel Pass web portal.
- Check the employer, tariff and start date. Accept only if the details are correct.
- Choose the Smart Fuel Pass client contract to which the reimbursement should be paid. Its currency must match the employer's contract.
- Choose the charging location where you charge the company vehicle at home.
Choosing a charging location
Select the location, not an individual charger. All chargers assigned to that location are covered by the relationship. If you use more than one home location, your employer must create a separate relationship for each location.
- Your own personal location: the relationship normally becomes Active immediately.
- A company or third-party location: the owner must approve its use first. The status remains Pending Home Location Approval until then.
- A charger that is not shown: you may need to enter its EVSE ID; the location owner then approves the request in the portal.
What you will see afterwards
During the month, your eligible home charging sessions are recorded with delivered kWh and zero financial value. This is expected. The monthly reimbursement is created only after the month closes and the employer completes, or the system completes, the review process.
If something is wrong
Do not accept an invitation with the wrong tariff, location or start date. Ask your employer to cancel it and send a corrected invitation. For an account, location access or technical problem, contact Smart Fuel Pass Support.
