For payment-card charging, an amount may be temporarily reserved before the session starts. This preauthorisation is not the final charging price.
After a completed session, the actual charging amount is captured and the unused part of the reservation is released. Your bank controls when the released amount disappears from pending transactions. This often takes a few days, but it can take longer depending on the bank.
Check both the pending and completed transactions in your bank account. If the final amount is incorrect, or the unused reservation remains for an unusually long time, contact support with the charging date, station, amount and the last four digits of the card. Never send the full card number or security code.
Choose the reservation amount before charging
Before the session starts, select the maximum amount that may be reserved on your card. If the application shows a slider, move it to the amount suitable for the planned charging session. This is not an additional fee.
After charging, only the final session price is settled. Your bank releases the unused part of the reservation. This normally takes a few business days and Smart Fuel Pass cannot speed up the bank's release process.
