An owner or operator of charging stations can keep its current backend and connect the network to Smart Fuel Pass through OCPI, a partner API or another agreed interface.
What is shared
The integration can replicate charging locations, chargers, charging points, connectors, technical details, availability and applicable tariffs or agreed prices. The original backend remains the main operational backend.
What Smart Fuel Pass needs
The integration must allow Smart Fuel Pass to retrieve locations and connectors, monitor status, start and stop sessions, follow delivered energy and receive the session and final charging record needed for settlement.
What the partner receives
Smart Fuel Pass can add ad-hoc payments, payment terminals, reservation handling, session monitoring, receipts and financial settlement without a full migration. Access for registered Smart Fuel Pass users to the partner network is an optional commercial arrangement.
