How charging payments are settled for charging-station owners and operators

The owner or operator sets the tariff; Smart Fuel Pass and Ultima Payments handle the payment and settlement process.

After a completed session

After final charging data is received, the actual price is calculated. Only that amount is settled from the reservation and any unused part is released. The agreed amount is then credited to the owner’s or operator’s payment account maintained by Ultima Payments.

Service fees

For registered charging, the service fee is 9% of the charging transaction. If a connector is used for a €0 charging session, the fee is €4 per connector per month. The two fees are never added together: only the higher amount applies. For ad-hoc charging, the ad-hoc tariff may differ from the registered-user tariff and the 9% merchant commission is not deducted from the ad-hoc session.
