A payment terminal is logically assigned to a charging location, not permanently wired to one connector. One terminal can therefore serve a practical group of connectors.
Choose what is shown
An authorised location manager can show all connectors or only selected connectors. Their order can also be changed. A connector can be hidden on one terminal and available on another.
Set the visible connectors and their order in the service menu directly on the payment terminal paired with that charging location.
More than one terminal
A large location can have more than one terminal. Each can show a different or partly overlapping connector group:
- Terminal A: connectors 1 to 10
- Terminal B: connectors 8 to 20
- Terminal C: connectors 18 to 30
This keeps payment close to drivers without requiring one terminal for every charger.
Check the settings after a change
A change made in the service menu takes effect directly on the terminal. Check the location assignment, visible connector list, order, tariff and status. After a larger change, we recommend a controlled payment and charging test to verify the displayed price and session start.
